To keep pace with the ever changing world of architecture Romag recognise that our products not only have to be functional but also have to be flexible to provide the form that will enable the individual designers creativity to show through.
Increasingly, glass for buildings needs to perform several functions not only providing a means to see outside and allow light into the building, but often several other functions as well. In most situations glass has to provide insulation to keep heat in, but the increasing use of glass in structures demands that glass will also keep excessive heat from the sun out of the building, particularly now that our summers are getting warmer. Romag offers a range of solar control products combining:
- Body tinted glass
- Tinted interlayers
- Solar control coatings
- California Series solar contrrol interlayer

As well as providing solar control, the glass may also be a structural component, and possibly providing protection against terrorists or intruders. Glass is therefore, by necessity a multi-functional component in building design.
Our products are available as 'flat' glass or 'curved' glass.
 
GLASS PROCESSING
Romag meet these demands by offering three core processes namely laminating, toughening, and bending which, when combined with the most appropriate raw glass product, ensures that we can offer the most beneficial finished product which performs all the demands expected from it. As an independent company, Romag will search the market for the most appropriate raw products to combine into their finished product without being tied to ‘in group’ product sourcing.
The result is the ideal product which meets our customer’s requirements in both form and function.
