Romag’s range of security glass is extensive and includes conventional ‘all glass’ laminates or lighter high performance glass polycarbonate bullet resistant variants. These products are available in curved as well as flat panels and may also include specialist inter-layers including our California Series solar control glass to reduce heat build up and increase comfort inside the vehicle.

Cash in Transit
We have been actively involved in this sector for many years and have gained a substantial reputation in both the UK and Continental Europe but we have also supplied markets in the Middle East and Far East as well.
Working closely with market leading armoured vehicle manufacturers, Romag’s range of bullet resistant glass polycarbonate has developed over the years to accommodate well known light vans and HGV vehicles with flat and curved glass options, as well as heated screens which in appearance look like the original manufacturer’s glass but in our case the glass meets demanding ballistic performance.

Public Security and Anti Terrorist
Romag has been involved in supporting the police and other emergency services for many years both in the UK and abroad.

Recent trends have seen a sharp increase in violent attacks against public employees which has led to the need to increase the security on police vehicles and in some instances to fire appliances and ambulances as well. The level of security will vary but it could range from high impact resistance to protect against missiles thrown by assailants, to high performance bullet resistance glass.

Romag’s expertise in the manufacture of security glass has enabled the development of high impact windscreen glass for trains and metro trams and our ability to produce a wide range of processes, including double glazed units, means that we are a major supplier of body side glass for passenger carriages.
